Hi loves,

With the launch of my deployment support, it brought me back to my old mistakes at the start of a business. I see entrepreneurs who start their startup ULTRA MOTIVATED, but in their naivety of the world of entrepreneurship.

I want your passion to be sustainable. So, before you rush in head first, take the time to know the common mistakes many people make when starting their own business. Avoiding these pitfalls can be the difference between success and failure.

  1. Going Solo

You might think that doing everything yourself will save you money, but it can cost you in the long run. By going it alone, you expose yourself to problems without having anyone to help you anticipate them. In addition, you risk finding yourself overwhelmed by responsibilities, which will prevent you from dealing with unforeseen events. A good entrepreneur knows how to surround himself with experts to help him, to partner on tasks in which he does not excel. He works on his business, not just in his business.

  1. Giving up too quickly

Starting a business is like learning to walk. You will stumble, you will fall, but you must get back up and keep moving forward. Don't expect to find success overnight. Business is a game of trial and error, and it's crucial to surround yourself with people who support you and encourage you to persevere.

  1. Confusing Self-Employed Worker and Entrepreneur

It is essential to understand the difference between being self-employed and an entrepreneur. If you are simply trading your time for money, then you are self-employed. On the other hand, an entrepreneur brings added value and expertise to his business. Do not mix the two concepts, otherwise you risk compromising the growth potential of your business.

  1. Neglecting the Contracts Part

Business is a shark world. There is no room for naivety. Make sure you have solid contracts in place to protect your interests and avoid misunderstandings with your partners and employees. Remember: in business, there are no friends, only people who want to make money. Stay vigilant and protect yourself.

This quote “employees are the paid enemies” sums up the reality of business well. Your partners and employees are there to make money, that's their main objective. You must accept this reality and act accordingly to protect your interests and those of your business.

  1. Focus Only on Results

Focusing only on results can be discouraging, especially when things don't go as planned. Instead, focus on the actions you take each day to get closer to your goals. This will build your gratitude and self-confidence, which will help you stay motivated even when times are tough.

By avoiding these common mistakes, you will put all the chances on your side to succeed in your business. So, don’t hesitate to surround yourself with mentors, learn from your mistakes and stay focused on your vision. The path to success can be bumpy, but with perseverance and determination, you can overcome any challenge that comes your way.
